I'm not surprised the Astros lost tonight. I'm surprised that Wanda Rodriguez threw a decent game tonight AND the Astros lost. Three runs in seven innings is a stellar outing for Wanda or any 4th starter as far as I'm concerned. Shame to waste it.
Bottom line for this team, Berkman needs to get the bat going. When he hits, it's typically infectious for the rest of the lineup.
Also tonight was Jeff Bagwell appreciation night. Thanks for the lofty stats and unorthodox batting stance. Time to start earning that personal services pay and help your boys figure out how to hit.
