Garner refuses to take my advice ... again; Thanks for the memories Rocket

Roger Clemens will pitch for the Yankees again, which shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone after Pettite opted to sign with the Bronx Bombers in the offseason. Lots of Astros' fans already crowding the message boards railing on the Rocket. I for one, wish him all the best in NY and will always appreciate the three years he gave us. I still felt he should have been an Astro back in 1999 when Toronto was ready to trade him to us for Scott Elarton and Derek Bell, but Drayton and Hunsicker would not commit to a long-term deal. Had that happened, Rocket wouldn't have had his taste of the Bronx and he might have finished his career and gone into the HOF as an Astro. Oh well, good luck Rocket.

Astros lost 3-1 today as Garner defied conventional wisdom yet again and had Ensberg back in the two-hole and Loretta out of the lineup. I'm beginning to rethink my post from earlier this week about how firing Garner would be the wrong thing to do.
